Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Swatch (“we”, “the app”) handles information when you use the Swatch iOS application. Swatch is a private color desk for photographing a wall, overlaying two paint chips, walking rooms in a house, keeping a chip deck with optional light notes, and carrying mix codes to the paint counter on this device.
1. Summary
Most records stay on your device. Wall photos, room photos, chip notes, mix codes, Coins balance, and unlock records are stored locally. Swatch does not operate messaging, live streaming, or stranger-matching features. We do not sell your personal data. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
2. Information processed on your device
- Wall photographs and two-chip overlay settings
- Room names, room photos, and assigned chips
- Chip names, mix codes, and optional short light notes
- Profile photo and display name if you choose them
- Coins balance and consumable unlock state (extra rooms and saved paint cards)
- Basic preferences such as a morning light reminder and User Agreement acceptance
3. Permissions
Swatch requests system permissions only when related to a feature you use:
- Camera — photograph a wall on Wall when you tap Camera, a room on House when you tap Camera, or a profile photo on Mine when you tap Camera
- Photo Library — choose a wall, room, or profile photo when you tap Album, and save a paint card when you tap Save card
- Microphone — record a short light note when you tap Record on Chips
- Notifications — optional morning light reminders
- App Tracking Transparency — the system prompt appears on first open after Continue so you can set Apple’s tracking preference. Swatch does not use an advertising identifier to track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and trying colors on a wall, walking rooms, and keeping a mix list still work if you decline.
4. Purchases
Coins are consumable In-App Purchases processed by Apple. We do not receive your full payment card details. Purchase records follow Apple’s App Store terms and privacy practices.
5. Content on this device
Names and notes stay on this device. Swatch may run a local sensitive-word check before saving a room name, mix note, or display name. Swatch is not a public plaza and does not publish your rooms or chips to other users.
6. Third parties
Swatch does not upload your wall photos, room photos, light notes, or mix codes to third-party automated analysis services.
7. Children
Swatch is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the app if you are under the minimum age required in your region.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the product changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we publish a revision.
